GMI Wheels’ OTR Wheel Profile & Wear Gauges are a simple way to enhance safety by identifying wheel/rim base and component wear.

Using a simple ‘Go/No-Go’ style, our gauges are easy to use and can make all the difference between knowing when a component is suitable for use, or if it should be scrapped.
Worn OTR wheel components can damage neighboring parts, causing poor air seal and reduced tire life. In severe cases, components can slip out of place, leading to a catastrophic failure of the tire/wheel assembly, damaging equipment and in some cases, fatalities.
In addition to helping tire technicians determine wear, OTR Wheel Profile & Wear Gauges are a useful teaching tool.
Each gauge is manufactured out of anodized aluminum and laser etched for improved readability.
